Thanks to Studio Ozon, Attack on Titan is getting a brand new murder mystery game. While details are still unconfirmed, the concept has many fans excited for what could be on the way. Despite all of this, what fans really want is more anime content. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be anything in the works in that department, at least for now.
Attack on Titan Murder Mystery Game Is Officially Coming
Attack on Titan fans are always looking forward to new content concerning their favorite series, but that has been scarce since the conclusion of the series a few years ago. Hajime Isayama has wrapped up the story for good and there doesn't seem to be a plan to continue it.

Nevertheless, fans were surprised to see a major announcement concerning their series recently. Studio Ozon dropped a huge teaser on their X platform concerning Attack on Titan. With an image of the grand series attached, the message “Production Confirmed” was revealed. This definitely had fans hoping for new anime content.

Sadly, this announcement was not for any new anime content. Instead, this was for a new murder mystery game for Attack on Titan. The details for this murder mystery game aren’t fully clear yet, but from the looks of it, and based on Studio Ozon’s history, this would seem to be a board game.
Based on Attack on Titan’s story, this board game could revolve around figuring out the identities of the traitors and secret titan shifters hiding among the scouts.
Attack on Titan Murder Mystery Release Date Is Currently Unknown
Not many fans expected Attack on Titan to get a murder mystery game, and while it isn't massive, some fans are definitely excited for the possibilities lined up ahead for the series.

What Else To Expect from Attack on Titan?
While a murder mystery board game for Attack on Titan definitely has potential to be a great experience for fans, it isn’t what most were looking forward to upon seeing the teaser. Attack on Titan fans want new anime content, be it spin-offs or something else. To them, it was definitely disappointing to see a board game be announced instead.

For now, Attack on Titan has no new anime content coming up. Instead, fans can look forward to Attack on Titan: The Last Attack movie making a comeback in theaters, better than ever before. Attack on Titan: The Last Attack is getting remastered under the name Attack on Titan: The Final Chapter – The Last Attack. This movie is dropping on January 9, 2026, in Japan. An international release date is yet to be confirmed.
